About this Podcast
HOST: Welcome to our podcast, today I'm excited to have Laura, an expert in intuitive eating, here to discuss her course, "Professional Certificate in Intuitive Eating for Women". Laura, can you tell us about your personal experiences that led you to create this program? GUEST: Absolutely! I've always been passionate about health and wellness, but as I learned more about diet culture, I realized how damaging it can be. I wanted to help women develop a healthier relationship with food, so I created this course to share the principles of intuitive eating. HOST: That's wonderful. Can you share some current industry trends related to intuitive eating? GUEST: Certainly! There's a growing movement towards body positivity and self-acceptance, which aligns perfectly with intuitive eating principles. People are starting to recognize the importance of mental and emotional well-being in relation to food choices. HOST: That sounds promising. However, there must be challenges in teaching this subject. What are some of the obstacles you've faced? GUEST: Indeed, one major challenge is helping people unlearn years of diet culture mentality. Many women have been conditioned to believe they need to control their food intake, so teaching them to trust their bodies can be difficult. HOST: I can imagine that would be a challenge. Moving forward, where do you see the future of intuitive eating and its impact on women's health? GUEST: I believe intuitive eating will become increasingly important as we continue to understand the negative effects of diet culture. By fostering body positivity and self-acceptance, we can empower women to make healthier choices and improve their overall well-being. HOST: Laura, thank you so much for joining us today and sharing your insights on the "Professional Certificate in Intuitive Eating for Women". We're excited to see the positive impact this course will have on women's lives. GUEST: Thank you for having me. I'm looking forward to seeing more women embrace intuitive eating and transform their relationship with food.
